Steps to Reproduce
Set three alarms at night before weekday with full intention of having a productive day
Wake up before alarms because body no longer knows how to sleep
Open laptop
Stare at laptop
Expected Results
Employee opens laptop, accesses task list, immediately begins executing against day's objectives in order of priority.
Actual Results
Laptop open. Task list visible. Zero processes initiated. Cursor has not moved in four minutes. Coffee deployed to help. It has not helped.
Notes
Issue not isolated to Mondays. Reproduces on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and occasionally Fridays when calendar is clear enough to notice. Root cause analysis inconclusive. External requirements unchanged. Workload unchanged. Compensation unchanged. All environmental variables stable. Scrolling LinkedIn as diagnostic tool resulted in no useful data and a low-hanging existential issue now tracked separately.
Status: Open
Pending approval to close as "Working by Design" while system evaluates whether the work being done corresponds to the work that is meant to be done.
