Severity:Medium
Priority: P3
Steps to Reproduce
Valentine's Day approaches
Parent wants to do something nice for Partner
Parent considers romantic gesture options
Parent calculates energy and time required
Expected Results
Parent successfully executes romantic gesture to show appreciation for Partner.
Actual Results
Every option exceeds available resources. Special dinner requires standing after chasing kids all day and proper meal planning. Date night requires childcare coordination, getting dressed up, staying conscious past 8 PM. Heartfelt card requires uninterrupted thought but Preschooler interrupts every 4 minutes.
Parent settles for "I love you" and attempting to stay awake through a movie (but Parent anticipates falling asleep on couch at 7:30 PM.)
Notes
Energy deficit compounds when Infant wakes multiple times during the nights leading up to Valentine's Day. Preschooler's attention demands increase 47% whenever Parent attempts Partner connection.
Lowering romantic expectations feels like relationship failure. Maintaining expectations guarantees disappointment and guilt.
Workaround unknown.
Status: Open
Pending approval to close as "Won't Fix" - energy requirements will exceed available resources until Children sleep consistently through night.
