BUG-2271: [Regression] Bedroom used as dumping ground to achieve acceptable living space for company
Severity: Medium
Priority: P3
Steps to Reproduce
Have family/guests coming over
Have action plan to achieve the Minimum Viable Clean for Guests acceptance criteria documented.
Start cleaning with good intentions
Get distracted with random idea for a novel
Spend remaining available time on activity with no immediate end goal or productivity metric
Panic
Expected Results
Living spaces meet MVC threshold. Bedroom remains unaffected. Guest visit completes without incident.
Actual Results
Living spaces pass visual inspection. Bedroom classified as disaster zone after all items requiring more than 5 minutes to address were relocated there — technically put away in the same way a toy placed in a doorway is technically in the room.
Notes
Regression of known anti-pattern documented and supposedly resolved during Home QA Project. This instance differs: workaround was deployed deliberately. Competing priority assessed as higher severity than bedroom state.
Preschooler's room was also cleaned prior to arrival. Destroyed by visiting nieces within an estimated 40 minutes. Pre-cleaned state unrecoverable. Zero ROI for that business unit.
Bedroom remains unresolved. No remediation scheduled.
Status: Open
Pending completion of more important work.
